CORK COUNTY COUNCIL’S SERVICE ARRANGEMENTS FOR LEVEL 3
Cork County Council will endeavour to maintain continuity of service in so far as is practical and safe for its staff and members of the public in line with the recommendations of Government.
As a result of the move to Level 3 of Ireland’s Plan for Living with Covid-19, Cork County Council wishes to advise of the following service arrangements: Libraries will return to a ‘click and collect’ system; Council-owned tourism facilities and museums have closed with immediate effect; Indoor Arts events are closed; All ouncil offices remain open; Playgrounds, multi use games areas and public toilets remain open; Swimming pools will remain open for individual use only; Planning services continue to operate; Roads services continue to operate; Housing services continue to operate; Civic amenity sites will continue to operate.
Over 120 council services can be accessed online at www.YourCouncil.ie and Cork County Council is asking members of the public to avail of these services in the interests of public health.
COMMUNITY SUPPORT PROGRAMME
In addition to Cork County Council’s regular service offerings, the Community Support Programme will continue to be available to members of the public required to isolate or cocoon.
This service provides non-emergency assistance by way of collection and delivery of food, non emergency health needs and social supports.
The Community Support Programme can be contacted for free on 1800 805 819, from 9am to 5pm, seven days a week. Those calling from outside of Ireland seeking assistance for a relative of friend in Cork county should call +353 21 4285517.
