Assessment is based on a credit system which allows for teacher assessment and some student self-assessment. As a result, students are motivated to achieve and an increased participation rate in projects and initiatives is established.

The completion of individual assignments, group projects, oral assessment and class tests also provide indicators for success. In addition, the students complete a portfolio throughout the year, which is a purposeful collection of their work that highlights the effort and progress being made, giving students an opportunity to showcase the work that they are most proud of.
