A Transition Year programme that offers many opportunities
Transition Year in Presentation is seen as a great opportunity to facilitate a smooth transition from Junior Cycle to Senior Cycle. It helps our students to develop the capacity to learn independently with a self-directed approach to their learning by developing an awareness of their own educational needs. It encourages students to develop life skills that will best prepare them for university life, the world of work and community involvement on leaving school.
Engagement with high quality work experiences is key and we have two, one-week blocks of work experience built into our programme to facilitate this. This provides students with opportunities to broaden their educational experiences beyond the classroom within a safe working environment.
