Motivational virtual breakfast event to mark International Women’s Day

-

The Hope Foundation (HOPE) will host its first ever virtual International Women’s Day event on 5th March via Zoom.

Since 1999, The Hope Foundation has provided protection, healthcare, education and vocational training to over 2.8 million lives throughout their programme areas in Kolkata.

Life was already difficult for the street and slum communities before Covid-19 changed the world and by supporting this event, you will be helping HOPE continue their work which includes the hospital who are treating Covid positive patients.

This year’s virtual event will see an incredible line up for an inspiring morning event, including TV presenter Brendan Courtney, Dr Pixie McKenna, private GP partner and Lord Mayor of Dublin, Hazel Chu.

Hosted by HOPE, these special guests and others will join a virtual audience to discuss gender bias, equality in the business world, resilience, their own challenges and how they stay motivated. This will be followed by an interactive Q&A session aimed at leaving the attendees feeling rejuvenated and inspired during these challenging times.

Speaking about going virtual for 2021, event organiser Mary Morrish said, “We have had to adapt how we fundraise in the past year and we really hope that this event will inspire others to challenge biases, question stereotypes, and celebrate the achievements of women around the world. We are really looking forward to something different and special on the morning of the 5th”.

Tickets for this event are €20 available via https://www.hopeshop.ie/iwd

So join us March 5th at 8am GMT and start your day feeling inspired! All support will be gratefully received.
