The Avondhu. DOG FOULING

A Zoom meeting took place on Wednesday, 17th February last with delegates from Ballyduff, Lismore, Tallow and Cappoquin to address the issue of dog fouling in West Waterford. Ella Ryan and Luke O’Brien of Waterford County Council were also on the online call. A campaign is to be launched in the coming weeks to tackle this serious issue, with multiple facets to it. Watch this space for more in the coming weeks.

Dog fouling is not only disgusting, but is also highly dangerous as it can contain bacteria including E-Coli and parasites like roundworm. It can also be the cause of sight loss.
