Birthdays galore in Tallow

-

My God, it’s going to be a busy week for birthdays and with all pubs closed we are missing some great parties.

The club’s treasurer, Dominic Power celebrates his birthday on Saturday next. All of 50 years is Dominic and a real party animal so we will really miss the party. By the way, a belated birthday greeting to his wife Val who celebrated her birthday two weeks ago and Val loved the burger and chips Dominic got for her. A real treat, right Val?

Also celebrating their 50th birthday on Saturday next are Eamonn Cunningham and

Pat Costigan. Enjoy the day boys, as it’s all downhill after this one!

Not forgetting our committee member Michael Delaney who celebrates his birthday this week. Much younger than Dominic, Michael is a great clubman and is missing a pint at the moment. You can have two when the pubs open. Clancy says it will be around Christmas.

And last but by no means least it’s the youngest man of the lot, namely William ‘Sticks’ Curley. Now the top golfer in Lismore, or so he says, he too can spend the day at home.

Sadly no parties for any of the lads. They are all too bold anyway! Have a good one, from all in Brideview.

SYMPATHY

The club extends its deepest sympathy to the McCarthy families of Youghal on the very sad passing of Donie. May he rest in peace.

BACK TO THE ACTION

It’s a while off yet, but hopefully we will know more from the government around Easter time, again of course depending on how we are going with Covid-19. Stay safe everyone.
