UNDER 16 B HC

Favourites Micheal MacCarthai­ghs had a 3-10 to 2-4 win over Kildorrery in the final at Doneraile. The winners, wind assisted, dominated the first half. Donough Stack (capt) and Kevin Lawless were in great form at midfield. MacCarthai­ghs scorers: Donough Stack 1-4, Ethan Bowles 1-2, Kevin Lawless 0-3, Tadhg O’Sullivan 1-0, Jeremiah O’Gorman 0-1.

UNDER 16 A FL

Mitchelsto­wn retained the title with a 1-9 to 1-6 win over Mallow at Kildorrery. Mallow led 1-5 to 0-5 at half-time.

Fermoy defeated Doneraile 4-13 to 1-7 in the final at Ballyhooly. At half-time Fermoy led 2-3 to 1-5 and they took control in the second half. They had their 4th goal by Conor Morrison in the closing moments.

Mallow defeated Newtownsha­ndrum in the final at Buttevant by 2-17 to 1-7. Kieran Stokes was the winning captain. Mallow scorers: Odhran O’Connell 2-7, Eoin Buckley 0-4, Sean Stokes 0-2, Brian Murphy 0-2, Kevin Sheehan 0-1, Garry Shine 0-1.

UNDER 14 B HC

In the semi-final at Castletown­roche, Fermoy had a 3-13 to 3-4 win over Ballygibli­n. Fermoy scorers: Mark Flynn 1-6, Ian Brennan 1-2, Jack Hutchings 1-0, Mattie Condon 0-2, Roy O’Riordan 0-2, Nicky Redmond 0-1.

UNDER 14 A FC

Glanworth and Millstreet clashed in the county semi-final at Newtownsha­ndrum. Millstreet had a close 2-10 to 1-10 win. The winners led 2-2 to 1-4 at half-time.

UNDER 13 A FC

Mallow had a huge win over Mitchelsto­wn in the U13 A FC semi-final at Glanworth. Mallow led all through. They had four early points followed by a Garry Jones goal. Donan Sheehan and Garry Jones added another goal each, as they led 3-10 to 0-1 at half-time. In the second half Mallow added 6-12 to just a single point for Mitchelsto­wn, by James Sheehan. Mallow goal scorers in the second half were Donal Sheehan (2), Donal Hennessy (2), Kevin Sheehan and Brian Murphy.

UNDER 13 B HC

Ballygibli­n had a 4-5 to 0-1 win over Mill Rovers in the semi-final at Kildorrery. Ballygibli­n gained control early and the outcome was never in doubt. Ballygibli­n scorers: Luke Stack 1-4, Barry Coffey 1-1, James Sheehan 1-0.

The final was played in Castletown­roche, where Ballygibli­n and Ballyhea finished 1-5 apiece. Ballygibli­n scorers: Luke Stack 1-2, James Sheehan 0-2, Sam Murphy 0-1. Ballygibli­n won the replay 1-10 to 1-4.

UNDER 12 A FC

Mitchelsto­wn had a 2-4 to 0-7 win over Mallow in the final in Glanworth. The winners ‘keeper Tommy Norris was excellent all through.

UNDER 12 B FC

Sean Clarachs retained the title following their win over Kildorrery in Doneraile. The final scoreline was 3-7 to 4-2. Gavin Kelleher was very effective for the winners.

UNDER 12 C FC

The Under 12 C FC final was held in Buttevant where Mill Rovers had a big win over Ballyhea, 9-11 to 3-2.

UNDER 12 A HL

Sean Clarachs were winners over Newtownsha­ndrum in the Under 12 A HL final at Ballyhea, 3-14 to 5-3.

UNDER 12 C HL FINAL

Micheal MacCarthai­ghs defeated Thomas Russells in Ballycloug­h in the final by 2-3 to 0-1. Martin Murphy was the winning captain and their scorers were Pat Kiely 1-0, Brian O’Shaughness­y 1-0, Martin Murphy 0-3.
