The Avondhu

All is quiet

-

The only noise heard coming from Brigown Park at the moment is that of lawnmowers and strimmers as our groundsmen are busy keeping on top of the playing pitches and surroundings.

It is not clear when we will hear the sounds of kids and adults enjoying competitive games again or training and as every week passes the hope of resurrecting the 20-21 season again gets slimmer and slimmer. Like all other sports we await government guidance on these matters.

CLUB GEAR

We now have added club snoods and club face masks to our large array of club gear. On Tuesday we will receive another large order from Errea in mostly kids sizes. All our club gear is available at the print house Upper Cork St. Remember each time you purchase any item of gear you are supporting Park United AFC.

SPORTS CAPITAL FUNDING

As mentioned in previous notes we have submitted our application for Sports Capital Funding in relation to our proposed construction of our international size multi-purpose 4g floodlit all weather pitch. We now await confirmation from the relevant bodies regarding our application.
