A host of localities were affected by water and power supply disruptions this week, with further planned disruptions in the coming days and weeks for some areas.

New connection works may cause water supply issues and water outages to the Watergrasshill area from 9am to 5pm on Thursday, March 18, while the Monananig area near Watergrasshill is to experience supply issues and outages on Tuesday, March 23 for the same reason.

Friday, March 19 is to see a planned power outage that may cause disruptions from 9.30am to 4.30pm in Inchinleamy and surrounding areas of West Waterford.

Due to ongoing water conservation investigations and repairs, intermittent short term interruptions to water supply may be experienced by Irish Water customers on the Kilfinane water supply from March 11 until April 1.

The past week saw Iniscarra road and surrounding areas in Bridgetown, Castletownroche affected by a burst water main which saw supply disruptions from Tuesday, March 16 into the following day.

Repairs to a burst water main were carried out in the Knockanevin area on Monday, March 15 and into the following day which again saw water outages and traffic disruptions locally.

In Conna, water outages on Monday were due to repairs being carried out on a burst water main in the village and surrounding areas.

Valve installation works were carried out in Glanworth on Monday which saw water outages and traffic disruptions locally.

That same day, water mains repair works cause supply disruptions to Raheenroe in Burncourt and surround areas of South Tipperary.
