Rebels’ Bounty closing date fast approaching

-

Huge thanks to everyone that has supported Kilworth GAA with the Rebels’ Bounty to date. There has been a great response and we have exceeded the minimum quota set by the county board, with 100% of all ticket proceeds from now on staying in the club.

By supporting this draw, you are supporting our club development with all funds raised ringfenced for this fantastic project. There is still time to join the draw. For less than €2 a week with 2 months free when you sign up you are supporting Kilworth GAA in a year where fundraising has been completely halted.

Tickets are on sale until March 25th. If you’re not in, you can’t win. Tickets are available from a number of executive committee members or they can be bought online: www.corkgaa.ie/rebelsbounty.

This is a fantastic draw with a total prize fund of €500k, with a whopping €100K first prize in the December 2021 draw. There are 360 cash prizes in total, with 90 prizes to be draw on March 25th for the months of January, February and March with prizes ranging from €20k for first to €150 for 30th.

Once again many thanks for all your support now and over the years which has enabled Kilworth GAA to thrive and remain a forward thinking and proactive club and strive to always be better for all our members and our community.

VOTES OF SYMPATHY

The club would like to extend its deepest sympathy to the O’Brien family, formerly Brennan’s Place, Kilworth; the Baker family, Fermoy and the Magier family, Killavullen, following their recent bereavements.

CLUB HISTORY

One of the few positives to come out of this pandemic is that it has given us the chance to look back to our past and at the great men and women who did so much to put our club on the map in the early years. With social media and the internet, recent history has been captured however we would like to fill in some of the blanks from the second half of the last century in particular.

If anyone has old programmes, team sheets, paper cuttings, club records etc, we would be most grateful if you could pass them on to any club officer. Any items offered will be treated with care and will be returned to their owners.
