BALLYBINGO A BIG HIT

-

While there isn’t much to report on the playing field at the moment due to the pandemic, certainly off the playing field our new fundraising venture is making all the headlines. Ballybingo seems to be a big hit locally, nationally and indeed internationally. With well over 500 books in play last Saturday night including 10 different counties and 5 different countries. We have over thirteen hundred in prize money to give away over the three games and hundreds worth of spot prizes to be won, all for the price of a book for eight euro.

Last week we had a very special guest who joined our Zoom bingo for game three. Our very own All Star Conor Sweeney. Conor was only too pleased to help out and he slotted in like a professional, adding great fun to the night with some of his bingo rhymes.

Conor was very kind to bring along with him two of the specially designed Bloody Sunday jerseys signed by himself as spot prizes on the night. Both jerseys went to Cork. Sarah O’Brien from Kilworth and Jim McGrath from Whitechurch. Conor jokingly remarked that it was nice to see winning jerseys go to Cork.

Ballybingo will continue again this Saturday night with eyes down at 8 o’clock. We would love you to join us for a bit of fun and a chance to win a few bob. For more information check out our posters or email ballybingo123@gmail.com

Last week’s winners including spot prizes were Tom Meade, Aidan O’Donovan, Evan Dwyer, Ailish O’Brien, Pa Meade, Martin O’Donoghue, Roisin Maher, Fergal McLoughlin, Josh Macken, Johnathan Cooney, Elaine English, Richard Griffin, Liz Fitzpatrick, John O’Riordan and Noelle Lambert.
