Virtual 5k fundraiser this weekend

Our juvenile committee in conjunction with Ballyporeen Ladies GAA are organising a Virtual 5k fundraiser this weekend. There has been a huge effort put in by everyone to pull this together so we encourage everyone to get out and participate.

You can choose to walk, run or cycle the 5Kms on either the Friday 19th, Saturday 20th or Sunday 21st of March or if you feel energetic do the lot over the weekend. There are no excuses.

As a promoter of positive health for our young kids and adolescents in our community both the Juvenile Committee and the Ballyporeen Ladies Football Club are unrivalled in the work they do to support the physical and mental wellbeing of our young boys and girls through our great sports. Their work deserves our support.

Look out for more information on social media and local outlets in the coming days as the countdown continues. We have been overwhelmed with the support from the Community so far.
