Safeguarding course

A safeguarding course is to take place Monday 12th April online at 7/7.30pm.

The juvenile club are running this course next Monday. Anyone who wants to be involved in coaching juvenile teams needs to have the following obtained: Garda vetting, safeguarding, foundation coaching course.

So if anyone wants to get the safeguarding course done then limited availability is left and please contact Roisin Kelly.

2021 CLUB CHAMPIONSHIP DRAWS

Draw for 2021 club championships is to take place Thursday, 29th April - same night as next Rebels’ Bounty draw.

HOME BINGO UPDATE

Kildorrery Community Development and Kildorrery GAA have commenced a Home Bingo game which includes 5 Bingo sheets and the calling numbers to play and win instantly at home. You play for a Full House for €50 and Sheet 5 will also have a Snowball prize starting at €100, with €50 added weekly until won on 45 numbers or less. Week 3 Kildorrery Home Bingo Books 5e on sale now and the PO, Centra, Comm Office and in Mitchelstown at Thornhill’s Opticians and Myers Maxol.

CLUB DEVELOPMENT

The initial club development meeting took place and further details to come in the new few weeks with all members views being welcome. The five year plan and strategy is currently being coordinated under the guidance of Ned Dwane. If you have any interest in getting involved in club development and over next few months please leave Ned know. As we build and evolve the club of the future this is a great opportunity to provide input in.

SUPPORT THE LADIES

Some of ye may already know but Lidl are doing a fundraiser for ladies football clubs until 11th of April. If the main shopper in the household could download the Lidl Plus app and select Kildorrery ladies. Once you spend over €30 you get a stamp and once you have 6 stamps you can submit a card. This will all go to help the girls receiving a set or 2 of jerseys or if there is a big uptake cash donations from Lidl. If everyone could support it for the month that would be appreciated.

You can submit your membership to Liam O Sullivan if you wish to do so. Please ensure to renew your club membership when you get the opportunity.

QUIZ NIGHT

A quiz night will be held shortly. We are currently working through the details and will advise of same. The likely charge will be €20 per team. This will be different but bound to be lots of fun.

CLUB SCOREBOARD SPONSORSHIP

Congratulations to Jacqueline Dunne of Dunnes Solicitors who was the successful draw winner for the advertising rights of the scoreboard. We would also like to thank all others involved.

LOTTO

The club is currently reviewing the lotto and will be returning shortly with confirmation of roll out. With new coordinators Jimmy Monaghan and Adrienne Fitzgerald, along with support from Michael Collins, it will be great to see the lotto return.
