Obituary - the late Patrick (Pad) Hennessy, Midleton

It is with deep sorrow and regret that we record the passing of Patrick (Pad) Hennessy, Clonmult Terrace, Midleton, Co. Cork on Wednesday, 31st March, 2021, peacefully, surrounded by his loving family.

Reposing at his home on Friday morning, April 2nd, a private removal took place where neighbours and friends formed a guard of honour, in line with social distancing. En route to the church, the funeral cortege passed his stable yard, where again neighbours and friends offered their support by standing outside their homes.

On arrival to St. Colman’s Church, Ballintotis, his remains were received and blessed by Rt.

Rev. Msgr. Jim Killeen PP, VG.. Liturgy of the Word was celebrated by Msgr. Jim Killeen and following the final prayers, burial then took place in Killeagh Cemetery.

Msgr. Killeen officiated the graveside prayers, where Pad was laid to rest in the presence of his loving family.
