COMMUNITY LITTER PICK

Lovely to see an organised socially distanced litter pick in Ballysaggart last Easter Saturday morning. From the turn off up by Lismore Golf Club to the top of Coolisheal and other ancillary roads, a total of 19 bags of rubbish were gathered for the local council to pick up. Litter picks and bags were provided by WCCC

Well done to the pickers who volunteered and of course, the bag collectors and other helpers who were involved on a beautiful sunny morning. I could rant and rave all day about the state of the rubbish on the road, but I would be preaching to the converted! All I can say is, to those who use the roads as their personal dumping ground - shame on you!

The Easter Bunny’s assistant appeared in Ballysaggart for a Cluck n’ Collect

Easter egg pick up on Saturday afternoon (and all done in a socially distanced and mask wearing manner). He is hoping that he will make it back next year.
