CAPPOQUIN CHILDCARE FACILITY

Bookings are now being taken for the pre-school and crèche for September 2021. The crèche, which is open Monday to Friday 8am-6pm, has been open for children of essential workers for the past 3 months. Pre-school returned on March 12th. From this week, beginning April 12th, all children can return to the service.

Each year we partake in the annual St. Patrick’s Day parade in Cappoquin. Sadly, for the second year there has been no parade, so we decided to have our own parade in the pre-school and crèche. We dressed up in green, white and gold and made a wonderful green, white and gold balloon display outside the entrance to the service, where the children waved their flags and paraded around the local park. Special thanks to Pat Glasheen who provided lovely music for us during the parade. We made a video for all the parents to enjoy.

As mentioned, pre-school returned after the Easter break on Monday, April 12th. All the children were welcomed back to the crèche also. Before the Easter break, we held an odd sock day in aid of Down Syndrome Ireland where we raised €102. Thank you to everyone that contributed.

Bookings are now been taken for pre-school 2021 and spaces are filling up fast. A limited number of places available in the baby room/toddler room. Bookings also being taken for our afterschool service. The bus picks up children from the local school at 1.45 and 2.45 and a hot snack is provided daily. Supervision of homework with various activities daily. Please contact the service on 05852746 or e-mail Cappoquinchildcare1@gmail.com for more info.
