This years Kellogg’s GAA Cúl Camp will take place from July 5th - 9th in Glenroe GAA. Bookings can be made online at www.kelloggscu­lcamps.gaa.ie. Kits will be delivered directly to your home.

GOLF CLASSIC

Exciting news as Glenroe GAA will host a golf classic fundraiser on July 8th and 9th at the Tipperary Golf Club. Entry is €150 for a team of 3 (including a BBQ). First prize is a fourball at the Old Head of Kinsale. If you wish to enter a team, sponsor a prize etc please contact one of the organisers, more details are available on our social media accounts.

MEMBERSHIP

The closing date for membership to Glenroe GAA Club for 2021 is extended to April 30th. Fees are €40 for adult players, €20 for students and OAPS. Membership can be paid online at the link on the club website and on the club’s social media pages or to any member of the Committee.

In addition to whatever Covid related guidelines the GAA will recommend, all players will have to be registered and insured before the first coaching session.

To reduce close contact, we are taking online registrati­ons only this year. From today you may register and insure your child by using the link of our social media accounts and website. The cost is €20 for first child and €15 for each subsequent child.

COMMEMORAT­IVE JERSEY 1921-2021

Limerick County GAA Secretary Mike O’Riordan recently launched the Limerick GAA Commemorat­ive Jersey. This limited-edition jersey is a replica of the one worn by the All-Ireland hurling winning team in 1921. The jersey features a hooped design and an image of the Liam McCarthy Cup on the sleeve. Check out the O’Neill’s website to order this one-off jersey.

EASTER COMPETITIO­N

Thanks a million to everyone who took part in our Primary Schools Easter Competitio­n. It was great to see so much time and effort being put in. It was also lovely to see the use of cúpla focail. Congratula­tions and well done to all. Our three winners were Saoirse Leahy, Aoibhinn Fox and Claire Halpin. Go raibh míle maith agaibh go léir!
