Return to play

-

Glanworth Juvenile GAA Club cannot wait to return to training from 26 April when the restrictions on underage training are lifted. The pitches will be immaculate, and the coaches are planning their sessions already.

We hope that the boys and girls have been practicing their skills at home and in school and are looking forward to seeing everyone playing together again. With a bit of luck, there are plenty of fine summer evenings ahead of us for play. New players are always very welcome, regardless of age or ability. Just drop club chairperson, Liam Brennan an email on planning@ oakparkfoods.ie or text him on 0867759654 for the details.

ANNUAL SPONSORED WALK 2021

We are holding our annual sponsored walk over the weekend of 16, 17 and 18 April. Our members will walk, run or cycle 5km individually over the weekend. It can be done in and around Glanworth, it can be done around the St Colman’s pitches (four times) or anywhere in Co Cork now that the Covid-19 travel restrictions have eased.

We are seeking your support and sponsorship for this big event for the juvenile club - our only fundraiser for 2021. Money raised will be used to invest in equipment for the underage players, including new goalposts and training equipment that will be available for years to come. Visit the Glanworth Juvenile GAA Club social media page for details on how to donate money. We would really appreciate any support you can offer.
