A massive thank you for the support

Just want to say a massive thank you for all the support we received for the Bounty Draw. We had to reach a target before we could benefit. That target was 70 which meant €7,000 to the County board which is the annual levy they put on our club. Once we reached that anything after that was profit.

Of course the biggest thank you has to go to Seanie Pierce who was instrumental in this success. We are extremely grateful for his hard work. Seanie solely took it upon himself and did a great job in reaching our quota and passing it out.

GLANWORTH GAA MASTERS COMPETITION

On another note we had a very successful Masters competition over the weekend. Spearheaded by chairman Stephen Dunne and Brian Whelan it was very well supported.

The players were asked to pick six golfers from the Masters field. The combined scores were then added up and all the maths work could not have been easy so we thank the lads very much for all their hard work.

The fee was €10 and the top three in order were Mollie Pries on -24, Brendan Hoare -10 and Colin McGarriagle -6. Congrats to all.
