Getting ready to return

-

Yes, all coaches and managers are now getting ready to return to training in two weeks. Hopefully everything will go ahead as planned.

Parents, guardians and players will be notified during the week regarding days and times of training. A reminder, it’s a case of just dropping the kids off and coming back to collect them. One person will be in charge of hand sanitiser and all kids will have to hand sanitise before playing ball. Parents and guardians will be asked to not send their child if they show any symptoms of Covid-19.

AHERNE ON THE BALL

For the second week running trainer Sean Aherne had a winner. This time it was in Cork with Cobblers Dream. Sean had two runners in Wexford on Friday last.

SYMPATHY

The club extends its deepest sympathy to the Henley family of Woodview Park on the sad passing in Ballyduff, Tralee and formerly of Longford of Patrick (Patsy) Moughty. May he rest in peace.

BIRTHDAY GREETINGS

To Caroline Curley who celebrated her birthday on Sunday last. Caroline is younger than Mickey. Enough said. Not forgetting John Paul Delaney who is celebrating his birthday this week. I’m sure he is younger than Michael.

THE LOTTO RETURNS

The club lotto is back this weekend. Yes, the draw will take place on Saturday evening. We should be back at the square on Friday and Saturday. Like all clubs, money is scarce so getting the lotto back will be welcome.
