Critical of delay

‘Anger’ and ‘frustration’ are words being used this week to express how some feel about Tuesday’s announcement to postpone the re-opening of indoor dining which was scheduled to take place on Monday, particularly from those who cannot facilitate an outdoor service.

“It’s unfair, and it’s illegal what they’re doing,” Declan Corbett of Corbett Court said, making the point that indoor dining is ‘unduly targeted’, particularly when events like the Galway Races plan to go ahead.

There was criticism too regarding the ‘corona pass’, Justin Finn of J’s Bar calling it ‘ridiculous’ and ‘entirely unworkable’.
