Small house fire on the Tallow road

Fermoy Fire Brigade received a call out to a fire in a house on the Tallow Road this week, reports Katie Glavin.

It is understood to have been a small fire that members of An Garda Síochana had dealt with before the local fire brigade arrived.

On Tuesday, Fermoy Fire Brigade received a call out to a road traffic accident. The Fermoy contingent were stood down however, due to the location of the road traffic accident which was on the Mitchelstown to Cahir motorway, with Mitchelstown Fire Brigade attending the scene instead.

Fermoy Fire Brigade also saw a number of alarm activations in the locality, but no major incidents were reported at this time.
