John and Catherine winners

A beautiful sunny morning greeted our players on Sunday morning for a fourball competition which was kindly sponsored by Tom Howard, for which we are very thankful. John Walshe and Catherine Morrissey were 1st nett winners on a score of 40. Tom Shanahan and Noreen Ryan were 1st gross winners on a score of 53. Stephanie Dunne and Nell Coughlan were 2nd nett winners on a score of 40 1/2. John Hogan and Pat McNamara were 2nd gross winners on a score of 54.

Tuesday evening’s winners were John Hogan and Tom Byrne on a nett score of 41. Kevin Doyle and Catherine Doyle were gross winners on a score 51. Ger Burke and Maria Roche were 2nd nett winners on a score of 42 1/2. Thursday evening’s winners were Michael Gowen and Tom Shanahan on a nett score of 43 1/2. Seán Howard and Michael McGrath were gross winners on a score of 56.

Our competition this Sunday is kindly sponsored by Adva Sign, Fermoy. Tee off 10.15am sharp. Tuesday and Thursday evening’s competitions tees of 7pm sharp.

The club would like to thank Bob Burke for the beautiful seats he made and put in position on the course. The club would like to wish Pat Houlihan a speedy recovery to good health, hope to see you back on the tee boxes soon Pat. The club wish to express sympathy to the Roche/McSweeney, family Kilworth on their recent bereavement.
