All set for this weekend

A quiet enough week on the fairways of Lismore Golf Club following our vice captains prize last weekend.

We’re looking forward to this weekend where our lady captain will present her prize on Sunday 18th. A draw for partners so please ensure you’ve put your name down on the list. Let’s hope for sunshine and lots of great golf!

Our minor team will play against Youghal on Thursday, 15th July both at home and away. Wishing our girls the best of luck in the 3rd round, Marie Condon, Angela O’Hara, Hannah Lucas, Jennifer Kingston and Sinead Bennett. It would be great to see supporters for these matches.

GENTS COMPETITION RESULTS

Single S/f competition - 1st Marty Power (17) 42 pts. 2nd Liam O’Keeffe (10) 41pts. 3rd Ger Mulcahy (17) 41pts.

Having recently won the Vice Presidents Prize it was back to winning ways again this week for Marty Power who brought in a great score of 42pts, in second place was Liam O’Keeffe with 41pts his round included 12 pars and 2 birdies.

CLUB SINGLES MATCH PLAY FINAL (2020)

Congratulations to Seamus Beecher on winning the delayed final of the 2020 club singles match play competition. In the final he won on the 18 green one up against Donal O’Leary. In a great match Donal came from four down to lose out on the last hole.
