U12 CAMOGIE

The fifth round of the U12 camogie league took Bride Rovers to Ballygiblin to play St Fanahans last Friday night. Sixteen girls togged out and with regulations being 13 a side, it meant three substitutions every 12 mins to make sure all the girls played their part in the match. As with all our matches no girl was found wanting with great displays of both attacking and defending however at the end of the match the scoreboard didn’t reflect the mighty effort the girls put into the match. Our next match is at home to Grenagh this Friday, 16th July.

SENIOR LADIES FOOTBALL

Our senior ladies football team play Aghada in Round 3 of the senior football league this Sunday, 18th July at 3pm in Bride Rovers Main Pitch. Very best of luck girls.

U6 FOOTBALL AND CAMOGIE

Training continues for our U6 Girls every Saturday (football) at 11:30am in the large astro pitch and every Monday evening (camogie) at 6.30pm in the small astro. New players always welcome.

U14 CORK FOOTBALL

Well done to Clodagh O’Flaherty who was part of the Cork U14 team who played Kildare on Saturday last where they won 9-16 to 0-16. Clodagh scored 2-1 on the day. Well done Clodagh and the very best of luck in the upcoming matches with Cork.

JUNIOR LADIES FOOTBALL

Hard luck to our junior ladies football team who were defeated by a strong Fermoy side on Monday evening. Fermoy started the stronger team slotting in a few early goals, which made it hard for our girls to come back. Bride Rovers

came out after a tough first half and worked considerably harder in the second half scoring some hard fought points to get some scores on the board. Well done to the girls on the night for their efforts.

CORK SENIOR LADIES FOOTBALL

Best wishes to Katie and Sarah and the Cork senior ladies football team who play Tipperary in the Round 2 of the All-Ireland Senior LGFA Championship on Saturday, 17th July in Sean Treacy Park, Carrick-On-Suir at 2pm. Best of luck from all at Bride Rovers.
