Quiet weekend on Munster cyclo-cross scene

-

After a busy period of cyclo-cross racing since September for the Fermoy cyclists, this weekend is a quiet one with no event in the Munster area.

Last weekend saw the Fermoy cyclists heading to Drombane, Co Tipperary where they had mixed luck in the various races.

Shane O’Brien took a fine third place in the U14 race, with Max McGrath being a clear winner in the U10 race. His father Stephen had mechanical problems in the A senior race and was out of the prizes in 15th place, with Fergus O’Connor 16th in the B race.

Liam O’Brien took a break from racing while he was recovering after his great ride in Sunderland in the British National Series the week before.
