-

OPEN TRAINING SESSION

Supporters were out in force at last Saturday’s open training session in Araglin Community Field. The event was organised by club chairman and still very active player, Tom ‘Dooner’ Kenneally. Thanks to everyone who supplied and served refreshments.

GREAT RESPONSE TO PLAYERS’ TRAINING FUND

As they’ve done so often in the past, the public have dug deep to make sure money is no issue in our preparations for Saturday. The sponsorship cheques presented last weekend came from Michael Lyons Construction, Araglin; Fitzgerald Hurleys, Araglin; Hegarty Fabrics, Fermoy & Araglin; James Kearney Carpentry, Ballyheaphy and a recently established business, Lissmark Engineering & Fabrication Ltd, which is owned and run by former player and ex-chairman, Mark Hickey. This support is much appreciated.

GUESS THE SCORE AND WIN €100

By spending €5, you can enter the club’s Guess The Score competition and potentially win €100 – again, this is proving very popular and creating another revenue stream.

‘IN OUT’ BINGO ON FRIDAY EVENING

In an effort to cater for all preferences, members of Araglin Hall Committee have come up with a novel ‘in out’ bingo format for this Friday evening, (3rd December at 8.30pm). Bingo players now have the option of going indoors to Araglin Hall or remaining outside in their cars. Bingo remains a very important source of income in the maintenance and upkeep of the hall, so please support.
