AGM

Its AGM time again. Where does the year go? The Kildorrery AGM will be advertised again shortly when the venue has been identified. Expression­s of interest are being sought by the club in selector or management roles. The club games and executive committee will then make a recommenda­tion to the club for AGM.

HOME BINGO

Kildorrery Home Bingo books are now on sale in Centra, Post Office, Community Office and Maxol. Snowball prize this week is €100. Drive in Bingo Friday night at 8pm in the Creamery Yard, many thanks for your continued support.

EXCITING NEWS

Kildorrery Christmas Market and Food Fair which will be held on December 11 and 12 will now take place indoors in the Creamery Yard. Kildorrery Community Developmen­t are delighted to announce that the renovation of the old Store has progressed rapidly and is available to accommodat­e the market.

Santa will be back in his usual accommodat­ion in the old Creamery and he is very excited as he missed seeing you all last year. All Covid guidelines will be complied with to ensure the safety of Santa, his elves and all the children and their families. To ensure everyone’s enjoyment and comfort a booking system for Santa is in operation again this year. Please contact 086-3579886 by text only with full family name and email for registrati­on form. Santa will visit Kildorrery Friday, Saturday, Sunday 10th/11th/12th.

The Christmas market will contain a wide variety of stalls offering Christmas goods such as – home baking, Christmas gift ideas, floral arrangemen­ts, arts and crafts and much more. There will also be a community stall, if anyone would like to donate unwanted preloved gifts in good condition - we would be delighted to receive them. No books please.

If you would like to contribute - please hand in at the Community Office/Thatch & Thyme Mon-Fri 9am-5pm only please. So for an enjoyable, festive family day out why not mark the date in your diary and please come along to support your local Christmas market and Santa experience.
