Two victories for Brideview United

-

United had two teams in action on Saturday morning last in the Prim-Ed leagues and both teams were away. So we had no action in Leonard Fraser Park. However while both teams were away, both teams recorded victories. Our U13 side won in Ballyduff and our U15 team won in Clashmore.

RESULTS: PRIM-ED U13 LEAGUE Ballyduff Rovers 1 Brideview United 4

A good away result here for United over neighbours Ballyduff. For much of the first half it was close enough and it was in the second half that United pulled away.

United’s squad all played: Josh Mangan, Sophie McCarthy, James McDonnell, Oscar Morrison, Paul Hegarty, Dylan Kerrigan, Tommy

Forbes, Ryan Whelan, Barra Alian, Oscar Cunningham, Harry Power, Jack Dee. United were missing Brian Murphy, Ethan King and Lee Guildea here for this game.

ON TARGET

On the scoresheet here for United were Dylan Kerrigan and Ryan Whelan who both scored two apiece. Well done boys.

PRIME-ED U15 LEAGUE Clashmore Ramblers 1 Brideview United 3

A good victory here in Clashmore on Saturday morning last. This is never an easy ground in which to get a victory but our lads deserved this win overall. United were 2-0 up at the break thanks to goals from Billy Murphy and Joseph McDonnell. David Wall added goal number three in the second half.

United all played: Alex Good, Cian Murphy, Aidan Murphy, Danny Power, Gearoid Hynes, Adam Pratt, Sean Murphy, Joseph McDonnell, David Wall, Ben Sheehan, Billy Murphy, Jack Henley, Nathan Mason and Dean Cronin.
