12 new homes proposed for Kildorrery
The proposed development of 12 new houses in Kildorrery has gone before Cork County Council for planning permission.
DS Myers Construction Ltd, the applicant, is seeking planning for the development of the new two-storey houses on Farrahy Road.
According to the planning application, it is proposed that the new dwellings will comprise of 4 four-bed detached units, 6 three-bed semi-detached units, and 2 two-bed detached units.
A new vehicular entrance and pedestrian access, a new pedestrian access, foul water drainage including a pumping station, stormwater drainage including an attenuation system, public lighting and all associated site development works are sought within the application.
Planning permission for the same development was submitted to the council last year, however, at the time it was deemed by the council an be ‘incomplete application’.
The current application is at a pre-validation status and a decision on the proposed development is due from Cork County Council on March 7 this year.
