Scoil Pól held its annual school Mass on Tuesday, coinciding with the feast day of St Paul (January 25th), patron saint of the school. Due to government restrictions the Mass could not be held in the parish church as it normally would be, but was held in the school hall and ‘Zoomed’ around the classrooms of those that could not fit in the hall within the guidelines.
Photographs were taken outside the school after the Mass, as it was inconvenient in the setting to do it in the hall. The Mass had music and singing and was celebrated by the parish priest Fr. O’Shea.
The annual school Mass is always an enjoyable coming together of the staff and students in Kilfinane, so here’s hoping that next year it will be back in the parish church.
