RETURN TO PLAY

-

The extended Christmas and Covid related break is now over as the Munster Senior League announced that the League will resume this weekend. Both our juniors and seniors are back in action with the seniors facing a tough home tie on Saturday at home to Everton at 2pm. At the same time our juniors will be away to UCC Academicals in the farm in a junior 2nd div league encounter.

The senior team, along with some juniors had a useful workout on Saturday last claiming a 2-1 win over Fermoy in Fermoy. The Park goals were scored by Paddy Hanrahan who was set up by Dylan Considine, midfielder Ger O’Neill was unlucky not to get on the scoresheet when he saw 2 headers cleared off the line. Fermoy equalised just before half-time to make it 1 all at the break.

The 2nd half was entertaining and the Park winner came when Leon Murphy dinked a perfect ball over the top and Oisin Morrisey fired a cracker into the roof of the net. Thanks again to Fermoy FC for the entertaining game.
