GAA club AGM

-

Our AGM is on Saturday, February 5 in the community hall at 7pm. If anyone has any officer nominations or items that they would like addressed, please email our club secretary on secretary.ballyhooly.cork@gaa.ie. All fully paid members of the club are welcome to attend.

LOTTO

There was no winner of last week’s lotto worth €3,200. The numbers drawn were 9, 21 and 40. The 5 lucky dip winners of €20 each were John O’Keeffe, Mick Sugrue, Pa Leahy, Ria Tobin, and Mike Cooney. With the recent government announcement, we can now move the draw back to the local pubs and the next draw will take place in the Roundy on February 4th.

We would continue to encourage as many as possible to use the online facility at Clubforce, or alternatively, tickets can be purchased in the shop, the Roundy House, or your usual seller. Thank you most sincerely to all the lotto players, ticket sellers, etc your support is greatly appreciated in these difficult times. Remember that any profits made on sale of lotto tickets goes towards the upkeep of the facilities. As you can all see works are ongoing at improving the community sports field.

REBELS’ BOUNTY

The Rebels’ Bounty for 2022 is open for sale and provides a great opportunity to not only support your local Ballyhooly GAA club but also to win some significant cash prizes at the same time! Like last year once we get over certain thresholds, all funds will go to the development of the facilities at the community sports field including improving walkways, lighting, gym extension and pitch drainage. Enter online and select Ballyhooly on the club menu. In 2021 we had members win €1000 and €150. Season tickets for all Cork Intercounty league games can also be bought on the Cork GAA website.

MAIN CLUB SPONSORS

We have joint sponsors, Ballyhooly Homes and Quintas, please support if you can. In these difficult times it is great to have this support from our sponsors.

Please keep an eye on Ballyhooly GAA social media for updates on club related events. And stay safe out there.
