Brideview win local derby

PRIM-ED U15 LEAGUE Lismore 2 Brideview Utd 4

No shortage of goals here in what was a real thriller with Utd claiming all three points with two late goals. Utd led 2-0 at the break with goals from Jack Henley and Roy Nugent.

Lismore fought back in the second half and scored twice to level the game with around fifteen mins left. However Utd finished the stronger and goals from Dean Cronin and Adam Pratt secured all three points for Utd.

Utds squad all played: Alex Good, Cian Murphy, Gearoid Hynes, Billy Murphy, Jack Henley, Aidan Murphy, Dean Cronin, Joseph McDonnell, Ben Sheehan, David Wall, Roy Nugent, Danny Power, Sean Murphy, Nathan Mason, Adam Pratt and Isaac Almeida.

DEVELOPMENT SQUAD GAMES

We had two development squad teams in action on Sunday last in Carrigaline and Crosshaven. The U14 Kennedy Cup squad brought only 17 players so all players would get a game. We had Ben Sheehan on this squad. We had Ryan Whelan and Tommy Forbes on the U13 squad. All the boys played well.
