Lá Fhéile Bríde at Mitchelstown Library

- MARIAN ROCHE

The windows of Mitchelstown Library are a riot of colour and information, as local schools all got in the spirit of the soonto-be national holiday, and created stunning artwork to mark St Brigid’s Day.

Trojan work from staff members Jack and Brenda ensured that all the handiwork was in place for Tuesday, and credit goes to the 2nd Class of Bunscoil na Toirbhirte, and the 3rd, 4th and 5th Classes of Ballygiblin Primary School.

Other artwork on display came from the 5 and 6th Class pupils of Glenahulla NS, and the 1st Class CBS Primary School pupils.
