Bridge repair works in Fermoy
Some traffic disruptions were experienced this week in Fermoy, resulting from the closure of one of the footpaths on Kent Bridge.
Traffic cones lined the road as a metal hoist-style structure was installed onto the bridge to allow workers access to the river and the bridge’s underside.
Signage notifying the public of ‘bridge repair works’ were in place.
Cork County Council were contacted regarding the matter, however, The Avondhu was unable to attain a response and any further information at the time of going to print.
