BALLYDUFF CHRISTMAS LIGHTS

Ballyduff Upper Christmas Lights 2021 were fantastic to see, these are now taken down and packed away for Christmas 2022. A huge thank you to all the business and homeowners that once again allow the lights to be plugged in.

After another hard year, these lights brought such joy to the village and community of Ballyduff Upper. With thanks to our volunteers who gave up their time to put this fantastic display in place, who worked for many hours fixing and checking any faults or replacing bulbs. This past year the light display was extended out the Lismore road in front of St Michael’s Hall, new lights were purchased and lots of maintenance was carried out on existing lights. This was all helped with the funds we received in 2020 through the GoFundMe page. We were so grateful to everyone that supported this fundraiser and hope each year, we will be able to add to our current display.

We once again opened our GoFundMe page Christmas 2021 and again the community support of Ballyduff Upper is amazing. With these funds we hope to expand our lights out by the Terrace on the Kilworth road and hope to add an outdoor crib in the village. The link for this GoFundMe page can be found on the Ballyduff Upper Tidy Towns’ Facebook page and will remain open for a few weeks, if anyone wants to donate. We are currently planning and look forward to Christmas 2022!
