Congratula­tions to the Presentati­on Convent senior camogie team who were crowned Munster champions last weekend. The trophy was sealed with a dominant performanc­e against Nenagh College.

The U16 ½ girls from Colaiste Fionnchua have a county camogie final to look forward to after beating Edmund Rice College, Carrigalin­e. Good luck in the final.

It’s great to see so many of our St Fanahan’s girls in both squads.

PRE-SEASON TRAINING

In the last week, the U14 camogie and football squads returned to training, with great numbers at both sessions. Players will be contacted by their team trainers as the various groups return to training.

FUNCHEON GAELS

The junior footballer­s will have their first training session of the new year this Friday evening (4th Feb) at 7pm in Kildorrery. There are strength and conditioni­ng sessions booked for Saturdays 12th, 19th and 26th February, 10.30am on the astroturf at Mitchelsto­wn Leisure Centre. Anyone interested in joining or returning to play, contact us via our social media page.
