POST LOCKDOWN

With the restrictions gone for the moment and things back to some normality a few things seem to have happened. Firstly the water breaks are gone. For spectators and teams with momentum they are of little loss.

For old crocks, those who get tired easily and management with boards on the sideline they will be missed.

TICKETS

The Waterford season ticket will incorporate both the intercounty season and the club one. The club one is not available separately which seems very strange when you look at the western intermediate hurling championship and there are a lot of intriguing games that people would like to go to and therefore the season club ticket becomes a justified purchase.

Intercounty games are by online tickets only and this system seems totally inadequate when the older generation of supporters don’t have access to such technology and when one thinks of the age profile of county boards surely they are discriminating against the people of their own ilk.
