SCHOOL HERITAGE GARDEN

We have developed a Heritage School Garden here at CTR NS. This has a variety of native Irish trees, wildflowers and provides delicious vegetables for the school kitchen.

Last year, we planted a wildflower garden around the border of the school. It has a lot of different types of flowers. It attracts a lot of bees and insects. It was a good success.

Most of the flowers were able to have their seeds removed and should be able to be planted again this spring.
