Pipped at the post

Dear Editor,

Yes folks, this was the story last Saturday in Croke Park when Ballygiblin just fell short at the end by 1 point. But by God what a display they put on – heart and passion and never say die to the end. Lads we are so proud of ye and as they say, you have to lose one to win one. To be honest, Mooncoin just about deserved their win by a single point.

I must say, with a bit of luck we might win a double this year in both codes.

‘Up For The Match’ last Friday night was excellent. Watch out Marty Morrissey as John Courtney is on your toes with his asistants.
