Michael, Ella and Tom winners
On Sunday morning we had a threeball scramble competition. Despite the wind, and the cold, icy rain we had a good turnout of players for our competition and good scores returned. Michael O’Keeffe, Ella Lovett and Tom Shanahan teamed up to take 1st nett on a score of 32, helped in no small way by a total of 9 dykes. Patsy O’Mahony, Noreen Ryan plus a ghost were gross winners on a score of 44.
Tuesday afternoon’s fourball competition (two scores to count at holes number 9 and 18) winners were Frank Roche and Mary Quane on a nett score of 49. John C McCarthy and Sheila Hegarty were gross winners on a score of
64. Tom Shanahan and Tom Byrnes were 2nd nett winners on a score of
50. Thursday afternoon’s threeball (two scores to count) were Joe Lee, Michael McGrath and Mary Quane on a score of 831/3. Gerry Burke, Abina McDonald and Denis Keane were Gross winners on a score of 92.
Tuesday and Thursday afternoon’s competitions continue, tee off 2.30pm sharp. Sunday morning competition tee off 10.15am sharp.
CLUB AGM
Our Club AGM takes place on Monday night, February 14 in the clubhouse at 8pm sharp. We hope it will be well supported.
