DISAPPOINTING DEFEAT FOR TIPP
The Tipperary senior football team suffered a disappointing defeat last Sunday in Thurles against Leitrim in division 4 of the national football league. After already drawing with Waterford, Tipp were hoping to get a positive result from this game.
Unfortunately it was not to be as Leitrim won comfortably on a scoreline of 2-16 to 2-08. Our club man Conor Sweeney accounted for 2-06 of the Tipp total. A great performance from Conor once again and we wish him and Tipp the best of luck in the remaining games of the league.
Well done to Ballygiblin on their All-Ireland performance last Saturday in Croke Park. They were so unlucky to just come up short by the narrowest of margins against Mooncoin of Kilkenny. From our club can we say well done on what you have achieved and your club can be very proud.
