St. Colman’s have a spring in their step at South Munster Cross Country Championships

Thirteen athletes represented St. Colman’s College, Fermoy at the South Munster Cross Country Championships in Riverstick on Friday, 4th February. With the guidance of Ms. Gumbleton and Ms. Sweeney, our Colmanites competed in all categories from Junior to Senior.

The Intermediate team won the ‘ Teams Category’ with an impressive display of forty-four points. William Verling, Patrick Verling, Aidan Maher and Conor Hayes were placed in the top 15 of the competition and will now progress as a team to the Munster Championships.

These boys definitely put the “spring” in their step on a beautiful February afternoon.
