Collision on the Tallow road

Fermoy Fire Brigade attended the scene of a road traffic collision last week on the N72 road to Tallow.

Two cars had collided at a junction, however, no major injuries were suspected at the time of the incident, despite their being major damage to the vehicles. Tallow Fire Brigade was also present at the scene.

On Monday this week, Fermoy Fire Brigade were called to several alarm activations in the town.

A power outage occurred locally on both Monday and Tuesday, triggering smart monitored alarms in businesses in the area, which in turn sees the brigade called to the scene if an alarm is not deactivated.
