Proud to represent Presentation Secondary School
As part of our ethos in Presentation Secondary School, we encourage each student to grow to their full potential. The focus is always on the holistic development of each person, and that is why we strive to facilitate extra-curricular activities that are of interest to our students.
At a recent inter schools’ equestrian competition in Thurles, five of our students, Ciara Moriarity, Amy O’Brien, Doireann O’Doherty, Emily Gorey, and Sophie Murphy showcased their talents. Ms. Kate Molloy, a teacher at Presentation Secondary School, organised their participation in the show jumping event and was present to offer support and encouragement to the girls on the day.
A week later we had another group of students represent our school in the Munster schools’ swimming gala in the University of Limerick. Many of the group are dedicate swimmers who often travel to the pool in Fermoy before school to train. Their hard work and dedication paid off when the relay team, made up of Grace Duggan, Ali O’Donnell, Eabha Burke and Kayla Whelan Klonowski, were awarded fifth place in a highly competitive field. Well done to all involved! We are very proud of you.
