Using their marbles in Ballindangan NS

-

Students in the Junior Room in Ballindangan N.S. were very busy recently. They had to create a marble run out of junk art. The catch was that the marble run had to be over a metre high.

Students used their STEM skills and engaged in the engineering process of asking questions, imagining their models and planning their designs. They then had to create their designs using junk such as paper cups, cardboard boxes, toilet rolls etc. The students then tested their designs and made any necessary adjustments. They improved their designs as needed and then presented these to the class.

The students worked very hard on their models and we are delighted to report that all marble runs were successful. We are so proud of our young engineers in Ballindangan N.S. We can’t wait to see what they develop next.
