Sports Capital Grant
The club are delighted to be awarded €147,619 Sports Capital Grant to help put up LED floodlights on our main pitch in Glenville. We appreciate the support as we continue to improve our facilities for our members and community.
Great to see Glenville Handball and Squash Club 68k and Official Watergrasshill Hurling Club GAA 75k profiting from the grants.
Also thanks to Padraig O’Sullivan, Cllr Sheila O’Callaghan and Cllr William O’Leary for the outstanding help over the year.
REBELS’ BOUNTY
We wish to thank everyone who has already purchased a ticket along with all sellers who have reached out to people to buy a ticket.
Ticket sales for Rebels’ Bounty 2022 will close at 6pm on the evening of February 24th, when the draws for January and February will take place.
We are in the position now that 100% commission of all remaining sales is going to our clubs. These proceeds will be used towards the continued development of our clubs as can be seen with the progress made in the past 12 months.
We would urge our club members and our wider community to grasp the opportunity now at hand to secure the sale of more tickets.
This is not only an opportunity for each individual to potentially win one of the 372 fantastic prizes on offer, but also to invest in the future of our clubs and our players. The ticket price for 2022 is €100 to join the draw for 12 months.

DADS AND LADS
Dads and Lads is a social football and hurling programme for those keen to enjoy Gaelic games outside the traditional competitive structures of the GAA.
The philosophy of GAA for Dads & Lads is all about participation and the camaraderie that only team sports can offer. The small-sided adapted games allow for incidental contact only (to minimise any risk of injury) so skills are to the fore over physicality. The games are self-governed – no referees.
We recently started a Dads and Lads football and hurling group in Glenville and it has proved a great success so far, with numbers increasing every night. It’s open to all and no previous experience of playing football is required.
