Start Your Own Business Programme (day #1 of 7 mornings, finishing 25th April)

Time: 10.00am-1.00pm; Cost: ¤50 per person. Our online programme is for someone with a business idea who wants to research it further. Modules covered will include market research, pricing and costing, cashflow projection­s, the revenue, sales & marketing, getting online and the business plan.

Tuesday 8th March 2022 Trading Online Voucher Informatio­n Webinar

Time: 9.30am-11.30am; FREE to attend! Find out more about the Trading Online Voucher Scheme for your business. If you are hoping to trade/sell online or to upgrade your current website to sell online, you may be eligible for a grant worth up to ¤2,500 or 50% of eligible expenditur­e. Eligibilit­y criteria and terms and conditions apply.

The Food Starter Programme

Dates: March 8th, 16th, 30th & April 13th 2022 Time: 9.30a.m. -1.00pm; Cost: ¤50 per person. The Food Starter programme is an online 4 x 1/2-day programme designed to help those with a food idea, or those at a very early stage of starting up a food business. Typically, within the first 24 months. It will cover everything from an overview of the Irish food sector to the specifics of starting a food production business. It is a prerequisi­te for anyone undertakin­g the Food Academy Programme. We would also recommend starting out that you complete a Start your Own Business Programme with your Local Enterprise Office.

Wednesday 9th March 2022 Going Green – Small Steps, Big Impact *National Spotlight Event of the Week

Time: 9.00am-11.00am; FREE to attend! This online event is our main event of the week during which we will be joined by clients and business owners from across the country. Our keynote speaker will be Dr Tara Shine, Change by Degrees. Our MC for the event, Jackie Gowran, Business Weaving will meet with several clients who are running sustainabl­e businesses including: Native Denims, Dublin; Mamukko, Kinsale and Badly Made Books, Cork City. We will be highlighti­ng the positive green difference­s which small businesses are making from partaking in our LEO Green for Micro Programme. 10 Steps to Self-Employment Programme (day #1 of 2)

Time: 10am-1pm; FREE to attend! Day number one of two days, this programme is ideal for someone who wants to find out more about what self-employment means. The ten steps involved in starting your own business will be discussed.

Time: 9.30am-12.30pm; Cost: ¤10 per person Join us for this new webinar to discover what tools you can use to digitally connect your business, to be the very best it can be, online.

Building a Better Business - Lean for Micro Informatio­n Webinar

Time: 11.00a.m. – 12.00p.m Small businesses across Ireland are taking strides to improve their competitiv­eness by reducing costs and increasing their profit through the LEAN for Micro programme. At this workshop, you will hear from Local Businesses that have taken part in the LEAN programme, sharing their experience and hearing the impact it had. In addition, the workshop will show you how to get started, who to connect with and what supports are available.
