Finding a bachelor
Nathan Carter tells us all about the upcoming competition to find a winner in this year’s Westmeath Bachelor Festival in Mullingar.
Nathan himself is one of the judges with Anne Doyle of RTE fame and Louis Walsh. The event will take place on the Sunday of the May bank holiday. The contest is to find that bachelor with the X factor.
If Anne and Nathan are in a fix to find that winning candidate, Louis is there to spot that unique quality required to be winner. The astute 2FM presenter Doireann Garrihy will complete the panel.
As the organisers point out, the Westmeath Bachelor Festival is a modern twist, as Ireland has historically looked to our female population who is polished, poised and with a social conscience, able to represent themselves on a national stage. Now it’s the turn of the gentlemen to shine!
Nathan will also be performing at the festival which has a great line-up. He says he “knows a thing or two about being a bachelor himself. Maybe I should enter too!”
